Privacy Policy
This policy covers information collected through voidstar.in, and summarises how VoidStar handles data collected through its hardware, web portal and mobile app.
1. What we collect on this website
When you submit the contact or quote form, we collect the name, phone number, email address and message you provide. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on this website beyond what your browser sends by default when loading Google Fonts (see Section 4).
2. What the product collects
If you become a VoidStar client, your account, device and contact information (names, phone numbers, email addresses of the contacts you configure for alerts) is stored to operate the service. Event logs — records of sensor triggers and the alerts they caused — are retained for 90 days in the active system and then archived. Device credentials are encrypted at rest and never stored in plain text. We never log passwords, tokens or device keys.
3. How we use your information
Contact-form submissions are used only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to set up your account. Product data is used only to operate the alerting service you've subscribed to — dispatching calls, SMS, email and app notifications to the contacts you've configured.
4. Third parties
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and, once configured, may route contact-form submissions through a third-party form service (such as Formspree). Alert dispatch for the cloud product line uses third-party call, SMS and email delivery providers. We do not sell your information to anyone.
5. Data retention
Cloud-line event logs are retained for 90 days before archival, per our standard operating policy. Contact-form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry or, if you become a client, as part of your account record.
6. Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, by writing to voidstar.deepsleep@gmail.com.
